Understand what status a shipment is in and how updates are shared. This is not real-time tracking — update channels are agreed per shipment.

Enquiry received
You share cargo, condition, route and timing. The first response identifies missing information and the next review step.
Cargo file reviewed
Product and battery references, available test summary, packaging, photos and commercial data are checked for consistency.
Option and quote agreed
Mode, routing, delivery scope, charges and remaining acceptance conditions are set out in the written offer.
Carrier acceptance and booking
The selected carrier or consolidator reviews the shipment under current rules. A rate alone is not booking confirmation.
Pickup and main movement
Shipment descriptions, packaging and documents must match the approved file. Material changes are raised before handoff.
Destination and delivery
Arrival, customs handoff, final delivery and proof of delivery follow the services included in the accepted quote.
Information flow
What should be communicated as the shipment progresses?

| Destination | Customs or receiver action needed and final-delivery status where included. |
The available notification channel and frequency should be agreed for the shipment. Do not assume live tracking is available for every leg or provider.
Roles
Know who supplies the facts and who coordinates the move.
The shipper supplies accurate battery and product information. The agreed logistics provider scope should state which booking, document support, transport and destination handoffs it covers.
- Shipper: accurate product, battery and commercial information

- Forwarder: agreed review and transport coordination
- Carrier: shipment acceptance and carriage conditions
- Importer / consignee: destination duties and customs responsibilities as agreed
