Anxin reviews documents supplied by the shipper and manufacturer; it does not issue UN 38.3 reports or SDS.

What we review

Make the applicable UN 38.3 test summary available, and share SDS / MSDS information when relevant to the proposed route or carrier. We review customer-supplied material and help with DG declaration support — we do not issue test summaries or safety data sheets.

The table below lists common documents, purpose, and who provides each one.

Name Purpose Who provides
UN 38.3 (test summary / report as required) Provides evidence that the cell or battery design passed applicable transport tests. It must be available where required; a paper copy is not automatically needed with every shipment. Customer (manufacturer or accredited lab)
MSDS / SDS Safety data for the product — supports DG handling and emergency response info Customer (manufacturer)
Packing details / photos Confirms short-circuit protection, inner/outer packaging, and labels/marks Customer
Commercial invoice / packing list Shipment contents, values, and piece count for booking and customs Customer
DG declaration / shipper’s declaration Formal dangerous goods declaration for the mode/carrier when required Prepared with our support; shipper remains responsible for accuracy
Destination-specific forms Import permits or local carrier forms where applicable Customer / consignee as required — we flag when known
Framing: Document review ≠ certificate issuance. Missing or mismatched documents usually delay mode confirmation.
Disclaimer: Final acceptance depends on cargo specs, packing, route, carrier and destination requirements. We assist with review and DG declaration support; we do not guarantee carrier approval.

Quality checks

A document can be present and still not be usable.

We look beyond file names to whether the information can be connected to the exact battery and shipment.

Model coverage

The tendered battery or product can be clearly traced to the model references in the applicable file.

Technical consistency

Capacity, voltage, Watt-hours, chemistry and manufacturer details do not contradict one another.

Shipment consistency

Invoice, packing list, photos, labels, quantity and declared configuration describe the same cargo.

Readability

Pages are complete, legible and available in a form the reviewing parties can use.

Current applicability

The file still applies to the model, design and route being presented for transport.

Responsibility

The shipper remains responsible for accurate classification and declaration; review support does not transfer that duty.

Fast first review

Name files so the reviewer can connect them.

Use battery / product model identifiers in file names and include a short model map when one document covers several items.

  • Battery model ↔ product SKU map
  • Test-summary file with visible model references
  • SDS matching the manufacturer and product
  • Packing photos labelled by carton / configuration
  • Invoice and packing-list descriptions aligned
  • Open questions listed instead of hidden

Files that speed up the first review

The exact list depends on the battery, the packing and the route; we confirm it per shipment.
